Exterior Design
The 2026 BMW 4 Series lineup consists of a luxury coupe and convertible. Both models offer standard 18-inch wheels and LED headlights, and the coupe comes with a sunroof. 19-inch wheels are optional, along with an aerodynamic body kit, summer performance tires, M Sport details, a rear spoiler, upgraded headlights/taillights, and carbon-fiber mirror caps.
Interior Design
Both the 2026 BMW 4 Series Coupe and Convertible seat four passengers. The 4 Series Coupe offers 15.5 cubic feet of cargo space with all seats in place, while the Convertible offers 10.6 cubic feet. Standard cabin amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, heated power front seats, leather-free upholstery, and ambient lighting.
Performance
The new 2026 BMW 4 Series offers a standard turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and an electric motor, producing up to 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The M440i offers a turbo 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine and electric motor for 386 hp and 398 lb-ft, while an 8-speed automatic transmission and Rear-Wheel Drive are standard for all models. xDrive All-Wheel Drive is available.
Technology
New 2026 BMW 4 Series models offer a standard 14.9-inch touchscreen media display, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, an updated built-in navigation system, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and wireless smartphone charging. Voice-activated controls add convenience, while available features include a head-up display, a premium Harman Kardon audio system, and a built-in Dash Cam.
Safety
Standard safety systems for 2026 BMW 4 Series models include Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Parking Sensors, and Automatic High Beams.
